Cub Scout Pack 218 is a moderate size Pack that is chartered by the Kirk of Kildaire Presbyterian church which is located at 200 High Meadow Drive, Cary, NC 27511.  Pack 218 is located in the Crosswinds district which is part of the Occoneechee council.
 
When we refer to the Pack as being of "moderate size", we mean that our Pack has one Den for each grade level from 1st through 5th  grade, and each den typically has between 6 and 12 boys.  Thus we strive to have our membership number around 50 boys for the Pack.  There are Packs in our district that are smaller and may lack dens for certain grade levels while other dens are considerably larger and have two dens per grade level and a Pack membership numbering close to 100.

 

While Pack 218 is chartered by the Kirk of Kildaire, a significant portion of our membership is from outside the Kirk.  Our pack currently consists of many members from local Homeschooling families.  The Pack's membership largely reside within the cities of Cary, Apex and Morrisville.
